Get Hawkins Local on your phone

📱 Step 1: Add to your Home Screen

This has to be done in Safari — it won't work in Chrome or another browser on iPhone.

1. Open gohawkins.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up), at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

🔔 Step 2: Turn on deal alerts

This part only works after Step 1 — iPhone won't allow alerts for a site opened in a regular Safari tab, only from the home screen icon. Requires iOS 16.4 or newer (nearly all iPhones today).

1. Close Safari, then open Hawkins Local from the new icon on your Home Screen.
2. Tap Get deal alerts near the top of the page.
3. When iPhone asks "Would Like to Send You Notifications," tap Allow.

Didn't mean to tap "Don't Allow"? Go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → Hawkins Local and turn Allow Notifications back on.

📱 Add to your Home Screen & turn on alerts

Android does most of this in one step.

1. Open gohawkins.com in Chrome.
2. Tap the Install app button on the homepage (or Chrome's menu → Add to Home screen).
3. Tap Get deal alerts and allow notifications when asked.
