Hawkins Local gohawkins.com
v0 prototype
Two minutes, no app store, nothing to buy. Here's why it's worth it, and exactly how to do it on your phone.
This has to be done in Safari — it won't work in Chrome or another browser on iPhone.
This part only works after Step 1 — iPhone won't allow alerts for a site opened in a regular Safari tab, only from the home screen icon. Requires iOS 16.4 or newer (nearly all iPhones today).
Didn't mean to tap "Don't Allow"? Go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → Hawkins Local and turn Allow Notifications back on.
Android does most of this in one step.
